Center for the Arts Crested Butte
Originally, I provided regular copywriting services for special projects at the Center with press releases, feature articles and newsletters to entice ticket sales. Eventually I became their first Marketing Director creating a comprehensive Marketing Plan covering media outlets from print to digital and social. As such I additionally wrote, edited and published their twice-yearly all-inclusive Events Program as well as special programs for Tour de Forks and the Crested Butte Wine & Food Festival. With my help the Center grew from a handful of concerts a year and a small gallery to seven departments including literary arts, visual arts, culinary and vintner arts, a second gallery and film. I additionally assisted them with writing copy surrounding a Funding Feasibility Study that carried tremendous financial ramifications to the success of an expansion of the Center.

Patagonia-Japan Edge Catalog
Patagonia-Japan solicited my writing skills to provide a biography on one of their sponsored athletes for their Edge catalog published in Japan. The biography was a portion of an educational publication about the company and its products.
The Office for Resource Efficiency
ORE, a non-profit organization working to solidify energy efficiency in home and business practices (now a part of the Coldharbour Institute), contacted me to create and edit grant applications. I also wrote feature articles for them, published in Solar Today, and press releases promoting energy efficiency practices.

Elk Mountains Grand Traverse
Organizers of this 40-mile endurance race hired me to create their press kit providing vital information on the event creating important media liaisons.
Artisan Rug Gallery
Small business owner Jeff Deutch wanted to create more alluring website copy for his high-end rug business. I created the story of the rugs he was selling, highlighting their craftsmanship and the care in which they were selected. This copy is now used his website and in his brochures.
Kim Reichhelm’s Ski Adventures
Seeking to create a more appealing brochure and web copy, Kim hired me to write her personal biography to use in all of her advertising materials as well as create stunning copy to sell the ski trips she guides around the world.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort
CBMR hired me for coverage of their special events such as the Extreme Freeskiing Championships, Extreme Telemark Freeskiing Championships and their Profurious Park and Pipe Series. In this I was responsible for athlete interviews as well as in depth knowledge of the sport and its followers. Additionally, I wrote feature articles for their annual press kit advertising the distinctive personality of the resort.

Alyeska Ski Resort
Alyeska flew me into Girdwood, Alaska to cover the first ever World Extreme Freeskiing Telemark Championships. I provided daily press releases for them during the event as well as press releases before the event to create a buzz in the telemarking community.
